Newborn photography is Aneta’s speciality and favourite theme to photograph. Aneta takes the time to work with newborns to capture incredible newborn photographs to be treasured forever.
Because this magical stage of life passes in the blink of an eye, newborn portraits are captured during the first 14 days of life (and around 6-10 days of age is ideal) when they are most relaxed and sleep a majority of the time. Most of the newborns shown in our gallery are about 10 days old. The best time to schedule your newborn session is during your pregnancy. We will add your expected due date to our schedule. When that day arrives give us a call and we will finalize your session date.
Newborn sessions usually last 3 hours, so please plan accordingly. As a mother of three, I know that if you have a newborn, or little one, you may need to stop and feed, change or cuddle your little one during your photo session, and that’s ok. I want you and your baby to feel as comfortable as possible.
The studio is kept at higher temperature to keep baby nice and worm. I sugested dressing in layers if it is a cold day so you can peel away the layers if you get warm.
Newborn sessions are photographed at our home studio in Manchester. Newborns look best in their birthday suit, but there are cute clothing accessories that look great in photographs. I love adorable knit hats and cocoons. I also love using real props like wooden bowls, baskets, and old vintage chairs. I have a collection of wonderful knits that were created by myself or for me by some of the best knitters in the business. If you have a something special feel free to include them.
After your session, each photo will be edited and placed in an online gallery for you to see. Your pictures will be ready to view within 2-3 weeks from the session, depending on the season. Your gallery will be avaliable online for one week.
